THE END OF POVERTY ?
Loistava dokumentti köyhyyden syistä maailmalla kokoaa yhteen perus historiantietouden siitä miten Euroopasta lähdettiin maailmaa valloittamaan ja millaisin keinoin “virallisesti” eri kansojen esi-isien maat siirtyivät systeemin omistukseen ja mitä siitä seurasi…. ihan täyttä ryöstöä ja rikollista toimintaa.
Paljon olennaista tietoa mikä pitäisi opettaa historiantunneilla jokaisessa peruskoulussa ja lukiossa. Olennainen pointti mikä jää usein huomaamatta – ja koulusysteemin historian- ja yhteiskuntaopin opetuksessa epäilemättä järjestelmällisesti pyritään kiertämään on, että missään vaiheessa vielä toistaiseksi ei niitä rikollisia tahoja jotka maailmanlaajuisesta köyhyydestä ovat vastuussa, ole laitettu vastuuseen teoistaan ja että nykyään ennen vääryydellä viedyt maat ovat edelleen esim. kansainvälisten konsernien omistuksessa ja mitä työntekoon ja tekijöihin tulee, monin paikoin meininki ei ole paljoa viime vuosisatojen aikana muuttunut. Pakolla orjana töissä koska vaihtoehdot tehdä jotain muuta on viety. On esim kokonaisia perheitä töissä siksi että joutuvat edelleen “maksamaan velkoja” joita suvulle on kohdistettu useampi sukupolvi sitten.. Ja yhtä lailla lukemattoman monet käyvät töissä tienatakseen rahansa jolla ostaa elantonsa, milloin missäkin, aivan liian harvoin elämän vapaata virtausta edistävällä tavalla, aivan liian usein pakolla koska tilanteen muuttaminen on tehty järjestelmällisesti vaikeaksi.
Dokumentti kertoo keinoista jollaisia valloittajamaat ovat käyttäneet aina tähän päivään asti saadakseen haltuunsa rikkaudet, perinteisen tietotaidon jne, sekä kuinka laittomien ja perusteettomien velkojen nojalla, erinäisiltä mailta viedään kaikki mitä voidaan, yleinen hyvinvointi, terveydenhuolto, koulutus jne. Aika totista meininkiä. Mutta toivoa antavaa, koska niin järjetön järjestelmä mikä maailmalla on valloillaan, ja noin läpinäkyvän rikollisen historian omaava, ei voi kauaa jatkaa, koska ihmiset ovat kuitenkin ajattelevia ja tuntevia olentoja, kykeneviä ymmärtämään kuinka >#)”¤ väärin niin moni asia on – että ei vaadi kuin tietoisuuden kasvua ja tiedon leviämistä, ajattelun lisääntymistä ja käytännön toimia, jotta hommat hoidetaan takaisin tasapainoon ja järjellisellä tavalla kuntoon.
“EXCELLENT” ja “POWERFUL” kuvastavat sitä minkälaisesta dokumentista tässä on kyse. Ei voi pitkästi selittää. Paras katsoa itse, ja ajatuksella.

Now, the airplane makes a u-turn right across our homes. And this aerial spraying is done especially when people are working. It is done twice a week. That has affected us very much. And when you go to nearby public health centers quite a number of children has been reported… dead…And it´s quite unfortunate that what Dominion produces there, the legumes that he produces there are not sold to us. They are ferried to America. They´re taken back to America. So we the local people… the land is ours, we gain nothing from that land. It is the American government gaining… and maybe some corrupt government officials. So we are now subjected to life of servitude… in our own ancestral land. And we don´t feel like moving away from this land. This is our ancestral land… and whatsoever, we won´t move out of this land.-“Poverty in the world, cannot possibly be eliminated unless the poor themselves say; we insist on justice ….[EDITORS NOTE: i think people in “richer nations” have especially big responsibility and ability to affect and demand and work for justice!]…….. One example of that justice is forgiving international debt. Second element would be to change the tax-system in every country of the world. Right now most taxes fall on the poor in the form of consumption taxes and taxes on wages. If justice is to be done, most of the taxes should fall on property ownership and not on wages, not on people. Third, the poor should demand agrarian reform, land reform. Restoring land to the people who actually work on it instead of a few landowners . Fourth thing is to end privatization of natural resources. We´ve seen in Bolivia what´s possible, where bolivian people actually took back water that had been given to Bechtel, and they forced Bechtel out of the country and now the bolivian people once more own that water.”
